Hello. I just thought I would send you a message to update you on
Malik. He is doing very well. He has adjusted to his new home very
nicely, and has quickly made himself a part of the family. We had no
problems getting him to use the box, and he is eating very well. The
first couple of days he was very shy and would spend most of the day
hiding. But after a while he became more adventurous and now he roams
freely around the house. He likes to sit on the couch with us when we
watch TV, and also to climb around on the kitchen counter when my
mother is cooking. He is quite a talkative little guy! He's always
chattering on, although he is very well behaved at night and we
haven't had any 3am wake-up calls yet. He is also a purr-machine and
purrs louder than any cat I have had before. He has also taken to
using his scratching post very well, so our furniture has been spared.
He is very friendly, but you were right in saying that he does not
like to be carried, although he loves having his tummy rubbed.

Anyway, I just wanted to thank you again for Malik. We absolutely
adore him, and all of our friends can't stop talking about how
gorgeous he is. I attached some funny pictures of him for you, so you
can see that he's doing well.
